Mentor Players Kicking newer players from Duty Ques for low DPS

I am guessing they saw your i150 white accesories/ head piece and that was why your actually booted because getting booted from a dungeon for low dps is actually incredibly rare from what I have seen, you should also dump the vit gear as dex is your main stat that effects damage.


You may want to run some of the lower dungeons and get tomes/gear first before continuing as i150 was low for the first HW dungeons let alone Sohr Khai and the gap is going to continue the more further you get in dungeons.

The mentor should have at least explained why he was booting you but unfortunately most just have it to get the mount from it.

The marked part is the most important one.

You have to know: Even if a item bumbs your ilvl, it doesn't need to be a "upgrade".

If you equip a VIT ring (for tanks) ilvl 205 and achieving an average ilvl of 205, your real (role-related) ilvl is more close to 187 !!!

Using gear for other classes (e.g. with no mainstat for your class) is considered "cheating the system" and people get kicked for that alone.

Also white stuff is just plain bad, once leveling is done.

Go to Ishgard, get your ***-daily hunts and weekly hunts. Those will give you 175 seals (on the first day), a right side item ilvl 200 costs 55 seals.
