What is your 4* Crafting Rotation?

I have one that I sort of cobbled together but I'm sure it's not the most accurate use of all of the abilities (I have all crafting classes to 60). So I'd like to know, what's your 4* crafting rotation?

    As a side note, I don't use macros. I don't trust them!

I use a modified Rath's. I have 430 base CP and I eat HQ Seafood Stew for the extra CP. The exact moves used depend upon Good/Excellent (Tricks of the trade instead of Flawless Synthesis) appearances, and failed Flawless Sythesis. Also, for me personally, my Craftsmanship on my Specialists is high enough that I can finish a 4* recipe in only two Careful Synthesis 2's after the Maker's Mark period, depending on how things went during said Maker's Mark period.

Its been a while since I'd done any 4* crafting, but going off of memory here ...

Maker's Mark, Comfort Zone, Steady Hand, Piece by Piece, Piece by Piece, Flawless Synthesis x3. Now I can start taking Tricks, and now I start counting those Tricks and failed FS's. Flawless Sythesis until Comfort Zone fades, then Comfort Zone followed by Flawless synthesis until Maker's Mark fades. Careful Synthesis 2. Inner Quiet. Comfort Zone.

    0 Tricks/FS fails : Waste Not, Steady Hand 2, Hasty Touch x5.
1-3 Tricks/FS Fails : Careful Synthesis 2, Steady Hand 2, Waste Not, Hasty Touch x4
4-7 Tricks/FS Fails : Careful Synthesis 2, Steady Hand 2, Waste Not, Hasty Touch, Hasty Touch, Careful Synthesis 2, Hasty Touch (note that the CS2 can be moved around to avoid using on a Good/Excellent)

    Master's Mend 2. If I have enough CP :
Steady Hand 2, Waste Not, Hasty Touch x4, Steady Hand 2, Hasty Touch x3, Steady Hand, Great Strides, Innovation, Byregot's Blessing, Careful Synthesis 2
If I do not have enough CP for that :
Steady Hand 2, Hasty Touch x5, Steady Hand, Great Strides, Innovation, Byregot's Blessing, Careful Synthesis 2

SH2->GS->Inno->BB takes 96 CP. Plan accordingly. Note that if you do not have enough Craftsmanship, you will not be able to do the "0 Tricks/failed FS" and will have to do the "1-3 Tricks/failed FS" instead. Also note that when I do get the "0 Tricks/failed FS" I do not have the CP for the first segment after Master's Mend 2 and I have to use the second.

For newer crafters, I always recommend using Rath’s rotation as a starting point and then maybe designing some modifications to improve on it. It’s easy to use and provides solid results. As far as rotations go, it’s the best I’ve seen and can be modified to give better results. Unless you’re starting your craft from relatively high quality, I would highly recommend avoiding any rotation using muscle memory or ingenuity 2. Using maker’s mark is critical.

However, if you want to master crafting, you’ll want to drop rotation based methods eventually. You’ll get the best results if you free form your synths each time like what was required in ARR end game crafting. The system is balanced for you to be able to craft anything from all NQ materials with very high HQ yields. If you’re able to equip reclaim, you can minimize NQs too.

If you’re planning to go into big business on the mb, speed is essential and you’ll have an advantage if you can craft from all NQ for each final craft. Just NQing intermediate materials (and spending time buying raw materials from the mb) will take up half the time. As an example, buying 400K worth of materials and selling a 4* final product (made up of say 3-5 crafted 4* materials) for 650K might not seem worth your time if you have to HQ a number of intermediate materials. But if you can craft any final product reliably within a few minutes, it becomes a lot more attractive.

Due to high predictability (ie. low proc rates) and abilities like Maker’s Mark and precise touch, HW crafts are more strategic than ARR crafts despite being far easier. There are more options on where to take your craft and it’s easy to get consistent results. However, most rotations are too inflexible as they are usually designed for cp efficiency at minimum required cp levels (at the cost of flexibility).

I use Ashe10's Rapid Synthesis rotation. Higher risk, but it's extremely fast.

Finished products get a modified Rath's.

For mats I use a Muscle Memory & Piece by Piece Macro. You can find many useful macros (or just use the rotations if you don't trust macros) for most stat levels on the forums.

    Here's a good go to:

A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

I don't do crafting that often but the times that I do I use this rotation, because to me it's a little less confusing than Rath's original one

Didn't know what Raths rotation was till recently but it's very similar to what I use.... main differences are I tend to use precise touch on any good procs instead of hasty touch. 100% success rate and 2 stacks of inner quiet... requires more cp than raths but usually generates a lot more stacks of IQ. and I sometimes open with 3 piece by piece not 2. because sometimes I'm never quite sure of exactly how much progress a carefull 2 will give me so I try to avoid using it till the very end.
