    I didn't mean to sound a jerk

    [QUOTE=Daniolaut;4028002]Man... (short for your name.)

    My apologies if I sounded like a jerk, I understand your frustration believe me being my goal is to get all relics, all content, all achievements. Believe me I see were your going and to an extend it can be a bit of a pain. Perhaps if SE would reward us, lets say as a mentor program, to get x2 the normal tomes it would make things easier. I was one of the few lucky enough to attend the 2016 FANFEST in Las Vegas, that was a big point that Yoshi brought up. They have done a great job implementing rewards for new weekly quest for , darn forgot her name, book that you get stickers. Once it may not be much but it's something. He also mentioned trying to make dungeons take an average of 15-20min In some cases now I average about 15 min or so. Believe me I understand your frustration and I'm sure they have thought about it. From a business perspective though, is it worth for players to get and finish things right away? These forums are great and I'm glad people can voice their opinions. Tell me how does it feel when you complete a long grind? Tome it feels great. Imagine how newbies feel with nerfs and still complain. It's all do to feed back. From nerfing, squadron, weekly challenge books, even you have to admit it has become a lot better. We all want it to be easy, making people work for it builds character. Just like in RL. We work, give feed back, we change. So I'm sorry If I sounded like a jerk. I can't speak for SE, but I can say they are trying to improve the game. I just hope they don't over nerf it to the point were it no longer becomes a challenge and ends up just another game in the HD.

    No, I understand and agree.

    The thing is certain things *should* take a long time, and others should not. Then on top of that, there should be a medium.

    Some things should be short term, medium term, then of course long term goals.

    The example, is tomes shouldnt be focused into a handful of dungeons, then also locked weekly. One or the other. At least thats my opinion.

    Let us gear all jobs at our leisure, or cap us into just 1 job, but make it not time consuming at all.

    A full content cycle to gear 1-2 jobs, as well as requiring you to cap tomes every week for an entire content cycle is a bit absurd and quite restricting.

    They put a cap on how many pieces of gear per cycle, then a cap for how much we can gear those jobs per week, then a cap on how many weapons per cycle, then a cap on how far we can upgrade that gear per cycle, then on top of that the gear is not customizable, the gear is not retainable (meaning its completely trash after the cycle) and to obtain it youre restricted to that cycles worth of content to obtain it in the first place.

    To me thats a bit restrictive and repetitive, and not exciting much at all.

    Possible Solutions:

    -All gear is completely customizable (via materia)
    -All gear is upgradable through each new cycle of content (for example upgrading item level 55 gear to 270 or what have you.)
    -There isnt a cap on tomes so you can gear all jobs, but you still keep the weekly cap in raids for max level gear. (24 man or 8 man respectively.)
    -All dungeons give tomes respective to your level

    etc etc.
