PS4: Fan becomes quite loud during play

The PS4 collects so much dust inside. Unless I clean it every 3-4 months mine sounds like a jet taking off just playing Netflix let alone playing games.

Opened up my PS4 yesterday, practically 0 dust inside.

Tested other games, fan was quiet.
FF14 ramps it up, but the heat is very low, just a slight warm.

I will assume that the fan is simply doing its work.

Mine gets hot but never noisy. I've been playing since 2.4 with it and i never opened it. Maybe I should still clean it regularly?

Mine had quite a bit of dust in it and I was very happy that the noise went down a lot after cleaning.

Before cleaning it was like Judge_Xero says: like a jet taking off :/
It was often noisier than any sound effects. Too bad that it didn't work for you.

Seems to be less now at least.
Quite happy that my PS4 was superclean tho
I assume that FF14 simply asks alot of my PS4.

Games like Destiny, MKX, BF1 etc, make no noise so its most likely just FF.

She doesnt get hot though, so I assume my PS4 is operating fine.
