I've had this several times. We are fighting our way through large mob groups because of traps, we are dealing with pox from mimics because you know, if you got pox, you will get no purity to remove it. We are happy to survive all that. And for what? For nothing. Wasted time and effort. Because we get no Kuribu to have a chance to beat the last boss. I know that we can win the fight without Kuribu. But not all groups are max equipped.
That's not funny.
Make it at least 1 guaranteed Kuribu.

Or the DPS can, you know, AoE the adds.

What does the pomander do? When I did it, no one used it. And I've never seen it.

The Pomander of Resolution changes you into a Kuribu, a holy animated statue. In Kuribu form, you attack using an aoe that deals a small amount of damage and stuns the target - but if the target is undead, it does a LARGE amount of damage and stuns the target. Since the floor 100 boss and his minions are undead, that makes Kuribu a very useful pomander for that fight. It's not very useful on other floors, because most floors don't feature a lot of undead.

More precisely, killing the adds on the boss with the Kuribu pomander makes sure that they stay dead, whereas they keep standing up if you use AoE or succubus. I think they even get stronger each time they res, but it's been a loooong while.

Not an actual complaint, I just need to vent:
Dun Scaith BRD pants. Patch day, saw a pair drop. Lotted 97. Lost to the only other person who could lot need and got 98. Fair enough. Three weeks on, FIFTY-FIVE runs. Not a single 'nother pair has dropped. RNG my @$$, sometimes it feels like it knows EXACTLY what it's doing.
