    And if they didn't explicitly lock the materia slots from having any effect outside PVP too. Clearing out some of the conflicting rules would be lovely. It's decent filler/starter gear in PVE but the fact that the materia slots are locked out sort of spoils that and just makes it all the more confusing.

    Man, it feels even worse to be a PvPer currently. . . Second rate gear, useless materia slots, useless materia. . . I like this game but I'm starting to question why I still sub?
