Question about AoE decay

I think its a remnant from 1.0. where there was a hard limit on how many things an aoe could hit. you could never hit more than 8 mobs with a steel cyclone of flare for example.

I still meet people occasionally who think there whm's protect or stone skin is better than my scholars. So it really wouldn't surprise me ppl still thoughthe the 1.0 aoe limits still applies
