I know you're mostly joking, but there is still some sincerity behind your comment, which is why I asked. Seems the Midlander selection is frowned upon for lack of originality, and I think that is lame. I could never quite figure out why everyone has to look like an alien to be an acceptable choice.

I'd have totally played a Midlander fem. I adore the stylized curled hair that only midlanders get, and I dig their physique. But beyond actual body structure and faces, the biggest make or break for a race for me are the animations. Midlander's running animation just was a no-go for me, and being that something you see so much so often I couldn't put it aside. So rock on with the Midlanders, not for me, but I totally have an appreciation for them.

I like Femroe a lot too but, the running thing seems bias, I think everyone has their own opinion on running.

I mean, yeah, it looks like the clichéd damsel-in-distress-runs-from-the-bad-guy-for-a-few-steps-before-she-inevitably-falls-on-her-face-to-be-rescued-by-the-hero run, but..it's cute.
At least not the robotic female Au Ra run xD

On the topic itsself: While not the Hempen Camise, there are lots of ways to reveal at least some upper/side boob on all races, and the dimensions are definitely the biggest on Roe ladies.
That said, I'm surprised your friend isn't actually protesting simply for the face options alone :/ Subjective, I know, but I can't think of a single Roe lady whose face I'd flatout call beautiful.
"Acceptable" or "better than anything I could ever pull off with that race" or "found a way to not highlight the bad parts", sure, but that's still at the lower end of the spectrum.
Your Highlander lady friend has a regular human pretty face, so I'm not sure how well she would do with giant noses and square faces and all that.
