I expect 3. The expsion is more expensive than Heavensward (HW cost 35€, Stormblood is 40€), so, yes. More moeny, I expec more things.

Well from what we know so far at the most perfect case we will get the samecas hw.
But most likly 1/2 jobs . same long msq.
Where did you get the crazy idea that if you pay more you get more?
Exactly. Also, any arguments about balance as it is now can go completely out the window because Stormblood is raising the level cap, with new abilities, and as such we don't know how the balancing will be at the new level 70 cap. It's plausible SE decided to leave the current situation in it's current balance because they know at 70 it's going to be different etc.
Even then, the state of balance between Warriors and Paladins in 2.0 didn't stop them from adding Dark Knight in 3.0, and other MMO's such as WoW (The ridiculous constantly imbalanced mess that it is) never let that stop them from adding new classes.
At least 2 jobs. From the Stormblood web page: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/stormblood/
"New jobs, including red mage"
I'd love it if Samurai was the second class, but I'm already pleased that Red Mage will be playable.
Reason i believe it will be two new dps is cuz it would be easier to balance them alongside also adding combat system changes. I can appreciate believing class balance in MMOs happens "naturally", but i am pretty sure there is nothing natural about it and it requires just as much attention as any other aspect of the game. (hell even now there are classes that are a bit off the mark even with tweaks in a patch by patch basis)
Definitely agree with this, dont get me wrong career tanks and healers deserve something nice and engaging as well, its just that it seems within the confines of this system that its really hard to make an especially unique tank or healer at this point. The system change might alleviate some issues with identity, or bring some uniformity into the mix, but I'm not certain that that will be enough to warrant a new job in those roles. They could, though and probably will surprise me howeverReason i believe it will be two new dps is cuz it would be easier to balance them alongside also adding combat system changes. You act like the DPS they've added to the game haven't just been rehashes of what we have already. NIN is a melee DPS with positionals except with the mudra system tacked on. MCH is incredibly similar to BRD as well just with a more complex rotation. To say that new tanks and healers can't have or are harder to design unique mechanics while DPS can is a joke, especially since pretty much any mechanic you can create for a DPS can be used on a tank as well barring things that are impossible or detrimental for tanks to do, such as making themselves take more damage, or positionals.
How much more evidence does this forum need before you finally accept that Samurai is the second job? It was even literally said during an in-game event that RDM and SAM were the next new jobs.
Oh it only seems like i was saying that, but I'm not. My opinion of the "new" jobs from HW is pretty splayed out all over the forums here, but ok let me give you an example: What is the typical response when we state what the next tank or healer is going to be like? You act like the DPS they've added to the game haven't just been rehashes of what we have already. Its always "its gotta compete with warriors slot, or scholar needs competition" DPS? "we need a sword dps job"
Albeit getting a "gun dps job" ended up being what it was, it definitely didnt have to be how SE made it
