How cruel would it be if they have Viera in the event but you can't play them till the next expansion.... :P

Like, cruel in a really hilarious morbid candy just out of reach way but still XD. That they're not bringing another race, likely only two jobs (or it seems), I really wonder if they going to bring in the same amount of content as last time in another way or if its just less content. Eh..

I'm not sure if Return to Ivalice is going to be a clever way to introduce a playable viera race into the game. I kind of doubt it. However, if Return to Ivalice is used as a sort of segway to bring viera to the game in 5.0, I would be extremely happy. Although it would be a bit of a tease to wait, I don't mind. I wasn't expecting a new race this expansion. I can only hope Yoshi p and the devs will consider viera for 5.0.

You're more than welcome to wonder if the other Ivalice races will be included in Return to Ivalice, but I don't particularly care about the rest of them.

Realistically, they probably wouldn't do that because then it'll boil over to "Why can't we play as all of them?" and we all know the devs wouldn't go out of their way for it.

They can. They'll just have to deal with the threads showing up frequently for two or so years.

I don't personally care about any of the other races besides Viera. Nothing I'd personally want.
