Housing permits?

I just bought it from AH, i was being rushed and remember something about if you do not build on it, you lose it.

1 M is the charge from the menu but I bought one from the AH for 400k, well my friend i mean.

Still like to know why it is so much cheaper on the AH though

now there is one for 195k where do these things come from >< couldn't find anything online, damnit if only i was not being rushed

You get them back when you demolish a house, so the people who give up their plot just want to get rid of their build permit. They sell them cheap because there aren't many buyers around.

Don't worry about the being rushed part. The auto-demolish takes over a month to finish and you only need to build a house in time to enter it before the demolish timer runs out. I think it took me a day or two to buy the permit after spending all my gil on the plot.
