It might be the first FF movie that is good, after the failing of Spirits Within, Advent Children, and Kingsglaive.

...and so are tons of other amazing movies. Rotten Tomatoes is about the worst way possible to judge a film.
Unless the only thing you are looking at is how much of the audience liked it, which is way more reliable than a handful of stuck-up people who sh*t on everything but the most obscure things.
And at least Advent Children and Kingsglaive are very beloved by the audience![]()
...but none of those really failed? You disliking them doesn't mean they're failures. From what I recall Spirits Within wasn't as well received but Advent Children is a 'cult classic' amongst many fans of FF7 and Kingsglaive - whilst certainly flawed - was a pretty cool experience overall.
You've lost yo mind lol
I haven't seen Spirits Within (though I really wanted to when I was a kid); Advent Children was incredible and don't get me started with Kingsglaive..IT'S EPIC (it even made it to the Oscars list for best animation, but sadly it didn't get nominated).
And also, Father of Light (forget Daddy) is a TV mini series, not a movie.

[super inactive on this Forum LOL]
Oh yeah the movie that made people think Cloud has always been emo, depressed and angsty because they never played the original game
Aside from that movies amazing animation that movie really ruined a lot of the characters image.
Yes, so emo.
Can't wait for the remake to pander to the Advent Children crowd. No more snarky fist pumping Cloud, no more streetwise, flirty and cheeky Aerith.
