Here's my serious suggestion: put chat back in. Censorship and blanket punishment of an entire community is asinine and should never have happened in the first place. This new system should be applied to players who have proven to be toxic, as punishment.

Now they can successfully avoid the 55+ up-voted "backlash" question on the live letter thread and say they responded to it somewhere. Guess we'll see it get removed in two years like GC restrictions. C'est la vie. I look forward to only premading in the future.

I'll give a more seriously reply now though.
A good improvement to the system would be to make it a punishment. Make a quick report like RMT trading. "Report -> Harassment". If a player gets enough of these reports, that player should not be able to chat in any content until a GM reviews their behavior. Either they will get unbanned from chat because people were abusing the feature, or these players can be met with a temp/permanent ban later.

If SE stands by the decision to remove chat in a competitive, ranked game mode, I would rather them just disable rankings all together. The feast being "ranked" right now is a joke.

Since SE is not putting chat back, we could use some phrases like: 'push forward', 'no healers', 'end matches', 'go for kills', 'player disconnect', ' limited break ready', 'kill high medal holder' , 'ignore low medal holder' , ' ignore tanks', 'ignore range...melee...healers..etc', 'use melee limit break', 'use range limit break', ' healer use attunement'
