male miqo'te - How would you like it to look?

Okay, so we all agree it would be nice to have more costumization options.

I don't care if others want their male Miquo'te to look like a furry or more "manly" (I'll use the word even though I hate it in the context Django put it, because 'manly' is pretty much just having one certain body part a female doesn't have), as long as I can have my dangerous but boyish kitteh
I'm all in for sliders, I'd love to be a child character anyways
But I'm 99% sure we won't get an age slider, muscle slider, wrinkles slider, etc. because right now, the devs are not even sure if they can give us more than the 4-5 hairdos we have as an option right now x_X

Knowing that, I'd rather make sure male Miqo'tes look the way I want them to look when they are released (with little to no costumization options) instead of them looking like what others want them to look.

What you suggested was fine. Personally though I'd rather they just keep them with how the dev team seems to want them. I mean they have a vision for it already clearly, one that is well enough on its own. I'd rather they not bow to demands of people who don't like what they're doing.

I mean be it male miqo'te or some in-game system, someone's not going to like it. The dev team should do what they're going to do, as long as it's good.

My previous post actually relied on the fact that, that's what people think about them (mithra to miqote, people think nothing has changed), and that in 2.0 they may change the lore of the races we have no clue. The reason why people think manqote's stay at home because they haven't read the lore of the game (which is actually all character creation) i know it wasn't worded right, but seriously people just rely on their XI lore (not saying this is right either) also in game I feel like miqote has the least amount of lore. So when V2 comes out, miqote's lore could be totally changed to where there were two totally different dynamics to the clans. Seeker of the Sun their colors reflect their nature to be out during the day and embrace the Sun forgot the gods name blah blah, what if the males were actually typically solo hunter/gatherer types (not survivorman) and when they embraced eorzean culture (because we have to deal with why they're here now) they were at first farmers, then with the call to arms they decides to become adventurers and help out with the war effort. On the opposite end sure moon manqotes can still hunt and gather but probably not farm at night, due to their nocturnal nature they were more reclusive, people don't tend to see them often of hear them often because their sneaky night cats, some how they meld into society and become assassins (i'm making all this up, pulling it all outta my ass, don't take this as an idea SE its really bad and just an example)

TLDR:The examples don't matter, my point is what if at V2 SE drastically changes the lore of races and especially pertinent to this thread the two clans of miqote and their males.

I did not make this thread to say "Do it my way or no way". I made this thread to get peoples opinions, and thoughts in the matter. The company in the end will make their own vision as they fit. I'm sure SE will make it work somehow, so far each race has it's own neutral feel. Even though sometimes they listen in, sometimes they don't. I'm not trying to change the way they are going to create the male miqote. I'm simply asking for everyone's thoughts and their preferences, while providing my own vision on the matter.

As for the way i want the male miqo'te to look... I think i would much rather them be slender and athletic looking.. not too buff.. But above all i'd love for them to look noble

We also need to recall that in Hydaelyn, the male miquo'te is not traditionally the bread winner. 'Tis the women who go out and about, lead the pack, form the family, build the empire (much like the opposite is the case for the Roegadyn). Of course, much of this segregation is broken down in Eorzea, probably due to progression - Merlwyb becoming Admiral may have even had an impact.

But if the cat-boys have been the supporting gender for so long, it would make no sense for them to be more powerfully built than the female, else history would have probably run a different course.

Lithe and slender makes purfect sense for the male Miquo'te.

Have you heard of a lion pride? Lion females do all the work but the males are still much larger and stronger. In all wild species of cats the males are larger than the females. I would like themale miqo'te to be like lions or tigers where the males are larger and muscular.

Exactly. A Male Lion is much larger because its main "job" is to fight other males/protect the pride. Thats why it is so much larger. All male cats are significantly larger then their female counter parts.

However, I personally would like to see them give us a bunch of options within a certain limitation template (I.E no Lalas the size of horses) based on what race you pick. However, if people here are determined to advocate such limiting dynamics I'm going to go with a robust cat-man instead of the yaoi string bean so many people are calling for.

In no way am I advocating some bloated herculean freak. Yet at the same time I don't want to be limited to a tall 12 year old girl type of bodies with slightly male facial features.
