I just notice...there is an item assigned to action bar! (the x142), so is that mean potion will more meaningful? I hope so!

I'm hoping those letters don't mean what everyone is speculating they mean, even though that makes perfect sense. That's just a little too spoonfed for my taste. I don't really need help identifying what classes are attackers/buffers/healers/tanks. If anything, I would hope they are the first letter of the name of the class like A for archer, T for thaumaturge, and h for hand to hand. Not sure what the heck B would mean though. Botanist? lol

lol i posted this a while ago and no one responded

I pretty much came to the same conclusions the numbers represent the party order the letters i thought might be representing your role "tank, attacker, buffer, healer, etc." like people suggestd.
I thought the red bar might repesent your hate, but that doesnt make sense to me for hate to be located in that spot since wouldn't be able to see hate for multiple targets at the same time.
if you notice, Delita, who has his bar full is the guy with a glowing weapon. So my guess is this represents some new kind of limit break system that they might introduce as part of a combo system to replace battle regimens
It's not spoonfeeding you people's roles. It's telling you what their jobs are without you having to even look at them. It's useful for us healers when partying with strangers.I'm hoping those letters don't mean what everyone is speculating they mean, even though that makes perfect sense. Dots in the bottom right hand corner could be a form of an alliance. Green meaning alive, red dead, purple or greyed out too far away or no members. All speculation of course![]()
They look to me like either the first letter of their class names, or an attempt at recreating the Paradigm System in XIII.
I see:
Tanker (T1)
Archon (because of the mana pool) (A2)
Bard (B3)
Archer (A4)
Conjurer (Name and manapool gives it away, Vivi!) (C5)
Assassin or Archer (Again the names seem to be clues here) (A6)
Thaumaturge (manapool seems a bit low though, possible a new job, as HP is very very high) (T7)
and H8, no idea.

The interesting part of the screenshot for me was in the bottom left: "Company" chat log. World wide chat channels for the win!
Oh and the mail icon made me faint.
Also top right, Wireless signal icon. Could we be looking at phone plugins? Or could it just be a reactive icon for your connection type?
And a timed quest objective, with reactive quest tracker, and a money indicator on screen. Nice.
No clue what those dots are though, really can't even begin to fathom their function.
also look really closely at the ring of fire spell in the middle, that's not blazing fire, that's runes in a circle. Now THAT is some nice spell detail.
