So as we speak I'm in a Zurvan fight as SMN that popped in trial roulette. And I'm feeling so stupid and guilty because I just came from a Dun Scaith run with multiple deaths and wipes and my gear is literally all 0% because I forgot to repair.

My hp is so low I'm dying from the most basic of unavoidable aoe burst, and my dps is so low even an afk healer would do more. I told the healers to save their mp and not raise me.

Super, super, super sorry and abashed towards these people. I apologize here like I did in game too. I can't apologize enough.

Decided to do Trial Roulette with the gf, she on WAR and myself on DRK. Zurvan HM popped, she had only been in there on her WHM so I told her not to worry about a thing and that I'd MT and solo the adds. It all goes incredibly smoothly, compared to EX I feel like I'm taking no damage, even joked around with the party a bit. Was a good time. When we got out, I got 0 commendations while Selli got 6 for being a fancy DPS. I was kind of sad, lol.

So I queue up for Dun and everything is going ok no wipes or anything till the queen and this happened twice.

The first go we had her at 5 or 10% and we all died on my alliance I get a res from are smn before he gets KO and I go to use the lb3 and nothing happens? My entire alliance is lost we had no idea what happened. The second time we again get her to the same part and we die I get res and go to use the lb and it was orange so I knew it was there and it played the sound for 2 seconds before the bar just depleted and nothing happened.

We quit after that and I'm still trying to figure out what happened :/

Speaking as someone who has managed to solo down the last 20% of that very same boss, as a DRK... I have no words for that.

On the other hand, the Griffin is very much a stupid boss. A stupid character who should've just died a long time ago, who is dragging back plot points and devices that we all wish were just dead and buried, and with stupid cheap mechanics. I died to it when the team chose to kill the sword in the middle of the room, thus leaving me no choice but to die to the swords at the edge when he kicked me into them and it exploded, and then I kept on dying because I couldn't dodge or tank Sanguine Blade with Weakness.

I find myself rather annoyed at all this, because lag kills me at the best of times, and when the margin of error or delay for dodging AoEs is shrinking with each patch, it's getting more and more aggravating.

Got the Queen to 1%, but everyone but 3 players was dead: the tank from my party, a BRD from another party and me on BLM.
Tank popped every cooldown he could, BRD sang song for me, and we threw everything we had at her, squeezing down that last percent more and more.
It wasn't looking good, tank popped his no-death skill and I knew we only had a few seconds left, but damn, having to evade mechanics too and all >.<
BRD died to that and it was just me and tank left, then tank went down when his no-death buff went out.
I knew I only needed to get two more Fire 4s in to win, threw the first with instant-cast while sprinting away,
then stopped for the final cast..she reached me just as I was about to finish;
her hit came at exactly the same time I saw her engulfed in my giant fireball, and I went "YES" triumphantly as my lifeless body hit the floor -
...but then I saw my spell had caused 0 DMG because the game counted me as dead, and she reset to 100% health >.>

Needless to say, I was REALLY sulky afterwards xD

All parties I've been in have killed the middle sword.

I've always just started DPSing the sword we are currently standing by.

I'm on a record for most times I've had to solo the first boss in Gubal Normal in a row. 4 times in a row, the healer has either eaten too many AoEs and died or gotten blown up by being on the wrong side of the book and I've had to become a Paladin healer. Had to solo the boss from about 60% of its health last time.

I've also been seeing a lot of monks who don't do positionals, BLMs who single target on mass pulls and AoE single targets (yes, even level 60 BLMs), and jittery tanks that spin mobs around unnecessarily.

Haven't had a dungeon group where everyone pulls their weight in a few days now unfortunately.
