i once had an AST co-healer who had macros for drawing, royal roading, spreading, etc....

It's to let his party know that he has Swiftcast on cooldowns for the next x amount of time &/or that he has low MP. Both are to say "yes, I know there's someone who needs to be rezzed but I can't right now, I will ASAP". If I, as a company healer, saw that then I'd take it as a sign that I should rez if able, using my macro that tells everyone I'm doing just that.

People are sensitive huh.
WOL is a Primal, the truth is out there. Togekisschoicescarfairslash.

I agree, NEVER decide a main tank for ozma. No tank should be in their tank stance for it, it doesn't have any mechanics that require a tank to hold enmity. The tank lasers happen regardless of enmity levels so as long as the tank is alive.

I once saw a Summoner in World of Darkness with a macro for Fester. I might have been able to ignore it if it was just text but it had an obnoxious sound effect too.
Wait, the macro with sound is an in-game feature? It is not some external program?
On that topic, is there anyway to keep the sound to myself? Using it to know when some skills are off cooldown?

Yeah you type <se.#> replacing the # with the number of the sound effect you want.
I know /echo will display text just for you but I'm not sure if it works for sounds.
Even with sound effects people thinks it's fine but should at least use it on ones that make sense or filter it.
