I don't know about female Miqo'te, but as a male, my tail clipped an inch to the left of the tail cutout on every piece of gear that had one. Of course, then they said 'screw it' and stopped bothering with tail holes at all...
And then there's that one male hair that's long with a headband...I can understand it clipping through clothing, but it clips into my back! Clearly they just don't care about clipping at all, which is kinda sad for such an otherwise gorgeous game.
lol well, ur horns are to pointy and caused a hole in your hood that's all![]()

They don't take Au Ra horns into consideration when making items (unlike miqo'te ear pouches) because Miqo'te all have the same ears, but Au Ra don't all have the same horns. 4 faces, 2 genders -> 8 horn variations. They just nope straight outta that and don't consider the horns at all.
Though in general, avoiding clipping doesn't seem high on the priority list. The current dungeon set for monk (and probably tanks) will have you clip your hands into the clothes in the default stance because it's that bulky. I'd even say it's gotten a bit worse of late, but it might just be perception bias.
It'll pass all the way through your arm during the /dance emote. I might have used that hairstyle if the clipping weren't so outrageous.
