I'm enjoying the story and the beauty of the game. Once the game reaches the abyssea status, I'll end up leaving.
Or if another MMO comes out that breaks the current state of what I'm finding in MMOs.

Actually I am not. The devs are too much focused on nerfing content instead of seeing that new players (secondary jobs) still can't catch up with ilvl requirements made by the community until certain amount of arbitary resets happens etc. Skill gates are fine. Item level gates are okay. But timegates are plainly annoying.
The main reason why the Party Finder is not working for the harder content and so many groups disband after few wipes is caused by the players who ignore the comments.
Getting to the phase XYZ once does not mean you are ready to join parties to do XYZ.
Parties should spend most of the time doing the phase that is written in the comment not trying to get there.
Servers merges, you lose your house etc., and you're stuck playing with people from freaking Balmung.

Really I can't even think of something that will make me quit other than if the game suddenly ends and is discontinued. Which I don't see happening in the foreseeable future.

So you're saying that a person that did not spent the same amount of time that i did, should have to acces to everything i do ? But...but...but why ?Actually I am not. We gonna have the jump potions for that, one more pain, you should wait and see how this feature gonna "help" newcomers
2 words... Skill trees.

Nope, I am saying that the person should be allowed to spend 50 hours needed to get something in one sitting if they want to - instead of being allowed to get one hour a day even after the content was released 2 months ago.
Jump potions are gonna make the game so much fun that players should start making friends quickly. I have been trying to be optimistic lately, the good news about jump potions is that players who are used to get carried right now will suffer a nice surprise when the expert roulette isn't possible to finish in time![]()

All i see, as an unoptimistic person, is pain, struggle and toxicityJump potions are gonna make the game so much fun that players should start making friends quickly. When another 6months of no real worthwhile content episode begins. So some time after stormblood releases I can expect the same thing to happen. So not a permanent quit thing.
I played the vast majority of content on my own and only later started to do things more socially and even now its barely social for me so people aren't an issue.
I suppose to make me permanently quit, all you have to do is dumb down the content slightly from here on out. It's barely on the "challenging enough to keep me awake" part now so I do hope they make more challenging casual content later on and keep bringing more neat extremes and what have you. Casual content is fine, but sometimes it hurts when casual raids for example are just too damn easy. A hard mode for those would be great.
