How do you know that the GMs time isn't consider better spent helping people with actual problems over the people with etiquette issues. If we consider RMT a more detrimental core problem it doesn't seem to get the same amount of resources that you guys want for monitoring PvP.

I am also confused by the point it is acceptable to be mean to your team. Generally it is frowned upon in most competitive circles. Pro teams dump players that cause to many issues like this. The problem is the ranked mode is solo it should only be team based and it should have chat. Enough of the players even generally decent human beings have issues when they lose X amount of matches where they can't control everyone and the match making system plots against them.

agreed with everything, same reason I hate the no tells in dfs too, yet they let people harass others though the novice chat.

well there is attack melee then making them with the 1 thing, but it is hard to get that across when someone demands a healer to die that is holding on 25 medals (and moves the marker to that healer)

Honestly, most of that is just good advice if you follow it up, which some members of the community would.

You took good advice and just construed it into trolling to prove your point. The exact meaning behind the quotes you said are the reason why we need chat, not every person says them the way you quoted. I'm personally harsh with veterans that should know better, but nice to new players.

I'm sure some people probably hear them negatively way more often though. Some people treat feast like a solo game, and that's exactly the same group of people like this change. Now these players can go blindly into battle and treat your teammates like trashy AI, just like these players who don't care always have. With the added bonus that they can now be ignorant of the frustration that they are causing. I think any disrespectful player not going into the match with a winning attitude, not doing their absolute best, and not playing with their teammates to the fullest probably loves this change.

as a small FYI it's probably not doing much to ease Squenix's fears about chat in the feast if you guys can't even have a conversation about it without mutually devolving into insanely personal attacks
