

I really do think it was from people glitching/hacking out of the house.I believe the technical reason for this is that since houses aren't necessarily persistent (they may have been demolished or had furniture and such moved around whilst you were offline) they zone you back in at the entrance as a precaution. Of course it makes no sense to me that they can't just check if it's safe to log you into the house or not and then choose where to spawn your character, but then I don't know how messy their back end is.
