At least this one has a nice list of reasons why in the first post instead of a vague complaint.

Adding to this, it removes a lot of room for specialized skills such as Sleep, Holmgang, Vuln+ skills, and other important cooldowns that people often macro'd.

There is no opportunity to teach, or to learn. I learned a lot by asking questions in the briefing period, because that's what the briefing period at the start was for.

If I left myself open to feedback and responded, people were generally really nice about it--because I was showing effort in learning and trying to help my team.

People who go in there with an I Can Do No Wrong Don't Question Me attitude were the ones getting yelled at, and quite frankly brought it on themselves. If you go in there and act like a belligerent, uncooperative twat, you're going to get called out.

By showing you have an interest in helping and succeeding, your team was way friendlier, imagine that! Nicer team, and you get to learn!

If you keep running in and making the same mistakes, frustration is bound to happen--just like it does in Trials and Primals! How about we remove party chat next?

But no, they cry! You can't remove Party Chat from Raids, Pyrali! How else will people learn?

Same shit in PvP my dude. No difference.

Nothing worse than any other area of the game has ever happened in PvP. Steps of Faith? Final Steps of Faith, Chrysalis, all the EX Primals... I could go on forever about all of the nasty shit I have seen said in there. But I won't, because it really does not fucking matter at the end of the day.
