Too many Wolf Marks in Frontlines?

So I've been playing Shatter recently and yesterday I noticed some anomalies. I was getting around 900+ Wolf Marks whenever I came in second and even got 1650 once when I was first. I did the roulette, but this happened in subsequent games.
I do have the 10% FC bonus, but I still don't really understand why I sometimes got more than I should. According to the patch notes, it should be 500, 750, 1000 for 3rd, 2nd, 1st place respectively.
Any ideas?

I played with my wife today and i got a little more than her upon winning the match. I believe i got more kills and less deaths so score could possibly affect your actual total as well. Im just assuming with no real evidence though.

They buffed WM gains alot and there is still that loser streak bonus.

This is probably the cause of your anomaly there :3

Getting 3rd place ups the gain from every placement in subsequent games and it stacks. Getting second place IIRC does not add stacks to the streak bonus, but also does not subtract them. Landing first removes all stacks. Kills and deaths have no bearing on the amount of XP/Marks you get.
