No...lol...7UPs are the ones that are going to wait until 2.0 to play the game again. The reference is that Version 2 is the beginning of the 7th Umbral Era, so its the 7th Umbral Players, therefore they are the 7UPs.
I'd like to think i will be a 7UP then but a lot can happen in a year. I will be playing some online game for sure I dont know if I will be to into my new game to try to rekindle feelings for FFXIV.
I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!
Its nothing wrong really, just that most of the 7UPs are the complainers, whiners, and haters so...they are the ones that give a bad image of you, you should defend yourself.
To answers people, on why I posted the review. I mostly wanted to point out to both camps that are praising Square Enix and booing them, that there has been changes to the game both bad and good.
BAD:
Now everyone can point out ideas that they have on how to make the game better, or that the in-game mail system that’s in Final Fantasy XI should have been in XIV at the get go. Or that with the current patch, and the removal of some items that people can’t craft like they use to, and making shards has been made more difficult with the “Fine Sand” removed from the one NPC.
Good:
Leveling up in the early stages of a new charter is easier, and you’re given more information on how to play the game now, which will help new players when they start the game for the first time. Also the Repair NPCs don’t charge you an insane amount to fix your gear now.
We can all point out the good, the bad, and what we would all want. Ostiax also points out a good fact
We’ve been a game with so much potential like Final Fantast X-2 showed when it was being made, but it flopped with a lot of fans too the point some even joke on how the game doesn’t exists.
I can understand that Square Enix needs to start to recover some of the money they spent on developing the game, paying for the servers, remaking the game to what they are calling 2.0, and other bills. But one does have to wonder if they are asking players to pay too soon, for a game that’s clearly still in development.
I’m planning on paying for two months for the game once the billing system starts, to see where the game goes, and how many players drop off and come back. But I’m still thinking that Square Enix will be looking at a player base of maybe 10K – 15K till they re-lunch Final Fantasy XIV 2.0, and making half of the current player base upset and leaving is bad, no matter what why you look at it.
