I presently own the ARR/HW CE ps4 on disc. When Stormblood comes out I want to get rid of the disc, simply digital CE version. What exactly will I have to pre-order? Can I just get Stormblood CE or do I have to buy the complete collection all over again? Thank you for answering all our questions <3
It was asked and then hijacked by someone else....but will Steam users have an option to get physical copies so we have the chance to get the figurines and such? Also will Steam users have the ability to play in the Early-Access release and get the items that are available from that?
So if I preorder the CE I get it all? Even if I preorder over the PSN?
I also was wondering what the preorder window is, from when to when?
How much will it be for EU players for the physical collectors edition? I saw the Na prices but no EU. Last time it wasn't even converted from $ to £ they changed the currency sign for the heavensward one ($129.99 to £129.99 instead of currency converting) so it was super expensive :/
In a roundabout way you already own the digital license for the game. Despite the store saying you need to purchase it if you were to delete your game and remove your disc, checking in your Library under Purchases will show XIV and allow you to install it disc-free. So you should be able to just buy the digital version of SB without issue.I presently own the ARR/HW CE ps4 on disc. Pre-order windows typically close midnight the day of release. EDIT: Yeah, forgot you could still pre-order and jump into the middle of the EA window.

Yeah so if you pre-order STORMBLOOD specifically you get them (including the CE of Stormblood), if you get the whole bundled set then you wont (whole set being Complete Edition) - I mean that's what it says in the image but I was thinking because it included stormblood it counted too but Bayohne confirmed that it's not. Which is why I asked. Anyway thanks Bayohne for answering us all, wanted to add a thank you but didn't want to provide nothing to the thread lol.
As for your second question, last time it was until the game was released but probably better if someone official answer that over me haha. (Like it was even pre-order able during the EA period)
Regarding high-population servers, will there be any additional preparations to accomodate players on servers with a high number of players?

the Online Complete Edition does in fact include Stormblood.
So if we pre-order Stormblood this way, we really get NO pre-order bonuses?
Is this product specifically targeted for brand new players to FFXIV, thus there's no reason to allow them early access to Stormblood? Seems odd to even put a product like this up for pre-order when it really offers nothing. Basic Stormblood is $40 USD (includes HW) and FFXIV: ARR is usually sold for $19.99 (sometimes on sale for 9.99). It's not even a discount for bundling all 3 games together. Is there a forum where I can provide feedback directly to marketing?![]()
I actually attempted that before, even after completely uninstalling, it won't allow me to install through the library with no disc in. So I'm kind of stuck there x.xIn a roundabout way you already own the digital license for the game.
