Farming feels pointless in FF XIV

players that don't do hard content will still get comparable raid quality gear if they wait long enough.

So, please explain why that is a problem and how it directly affects your play in any way.

You say farming is pointless. I say "Good." Who would ever want to run the same dungeons/raids over and over and over again? Not me anyway, so if I can skip doing that without really missing anything then that is a very good thing.

Having posted here for more than 3 years now, and played for the same time in FFXIV, I have to agree.

I also want to point out that the players most vocal about being bored with the game, or complaining of a lack of content are the very players who spend days or weeks grinding the same content over an over. It's no wonder they get bored.
