Couldn't you just force a half partition into it? At that point wouldn't it appear to be wainscoated?I'd love it if they introduced a Goblet, Mist and Lavenderbed version of the partition with the appropriate wainscotting for each area.
What I really want is for the White Wall to be dyable. The partition looks great coloured but it's going to use too many furniture slots to use it to replace the walls of a room. Please SE, make the wall dyable, too.
That could work, BUT it could burn though an awful lot of item slots, depending on your house size and floor plan.
Now, if they're willing to bump up the item cap per house, that would solve a lot of problems...
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! I have been saying for ages how I wished for dyeable partitions!!!! You just MADE my day!!!!
The half partitions do not match the wainscoting. Also the white partition does not have the matching border and crown molding of the Riviera, Glade and Oasis. There is no good match for walls and partitions outside the standard zone specific ones and that's kindda weird imo
Not to mention, if you want a western-style door and for it to blend in with the wall you put it in, you HAVE to use the Riviera walls. The half partitions do not match the wainscoting. "Tanks don't read chat, they just type in it."
Yeah, the white partition is a good start but they should really have a door for each style. I'm no coder but you would think that having a standard partition like the white one and just letting us skin things like the various interior walls would be the ticket. One partition, one door, multiple skins. Maybe they will implement that in the future just like they cut down on the amount of glamour crystals.
I feel like they are experimenting with new furnishings first. Check out what the community adores or not. The white partition is definitely the step in the right direction. Before we know it, we will get matching doors and ugh. I'm excited for the future. Now I hope upping the furnishing allowance doesn't take too long to be implemented once SB is released. I need more detail *-*
To be fair the Riviera door has been in this game a looooooooong time and SE has been asked again and again and again to make an oasis and glade version and we haven't gotten either of them yet.
I have no idea what's going on in that dev room sometimes but it ain't common sense or attention to detail on a lot of things like this.
I would love Goblet, Mist and Lavenderbed version of the door partition too. Maybe with different door styles? Goblet equal a middle east door. Stuff like that.I'd love it if they introduced a Goblet, Mist and Lavenderbed version of the partition with the appropriate wainscotting for each area.

I'm also so pleased about the new white wall and partition, THANK YOU! This has been my number-one "wish I had..." in housing for a very long time!
Sure I'd love the wallpaper to be dyeable, too -- but I'm really pleased. And it's cheap, too!
Also, the lack of wainscoting on the partition means that wall-mounted items can be placed nearly on the ground, which is an AWESOME thing imo.
