I've not experienced the change yet but it's something that I've been after for ages. Nothing worse than being at a crucial point of a raid and a derp releases. >_<
I kind of get fed up with time-wasting 'features' for those that can't concentrate for 2 seconds on what button they're pressing .. the endless "are you sure you meant to do that?" prompts are another symptom of this.
We have a repeated offender in our static who does this from time to time (Clicking the return button before the raise effect is applied once raise is cast on him).
This is a very welcome addition for our group, and considering it's in the game - we can't be the only group that experience this from time to time..

This is exactly what happened to me. I thought I was getting revived and nope! Locked myself out. I felt like a fool. I was a little too quick on pressing OK. I did this only once, but I welcome this feature. It made me more cautious, so lesson learned, but I think this is needed. Its more of an inconvenience because we are all still used to just clicking it. I was annoyed at first myself, then remembered that literally two days prior to patch I went and sent myself to start thinking I was getting revived during a raid. Made me appreciate it after that.

Anyone who thinks this is a terrible feature, has never had a promising raid/trial turn into a wipe because someone mashed the button an instant too soon while being raised.
It's a godsend, and well worth the so-called "inconvenience".
This game is full of players that can't be bothered to do something cause is a "inconvenience" do they take that approach in RL also?

I am really thankful for this feature. I have a bad habit of seeing the raise animation and hitting OK without checking the prompt. Never caused a wipe, but it was still more annoying than having to hold my mouse button for 2 seconds.
"Hello, I'm auditioning for the role of Ser Aymeric de Borel, and I'll be singing Electric Chapel by Lady Gaga"
Hmm I don't see what is the big deal, even if someone dies 30 times in a single duty that would still be in the worst case, where he respawn at entrance each and every time, just a single minute "wasted". And if you died 30 times, that minute should be the less of your current worries.
Now I don't mind an optional setting to disable that new feature, options are always good. However without that option, I think the new version is better overall than the old.
And while I understand not liking the new functionality, I find some of the comments here worded in a disproportionate fashion just because it gonna add 2 more seconds for a party wipe to respawn.

Well you're obviously triggered if you have to resort in calling people stupid and telling them to stop playing. Pretty much a textbook example of triggered if I seen one.
