...but don't those people realise they should be pf'ing a full party for such a restriction? Some people like to learn things for themselves, and particularly on the day a new dungeon is released, they expect to be allowed to. It's one of the main reasons people like new content more than content they're reaching for the first time long after other people have run it. (Given this thread came up on patch day, I'm assuming you're talking about new content.)

The problem a lot of veteran players have is that they've gotten so absorbed in their dps epeen, their item level, and their "valuable" time that they forget that they were new once, and that on patch day everyone is new. Above all else patch day is a time for players to apply the skills they were supposed to have learned in previous content, and get real experience for adapting to new content while clearing it before guides are posted. Telling someone what the gimmick is without even giving them the chance to figure it out on their own is kind of like telling a kid that the new video game they got for their birthday is a rental and has to go back the next day. It might not be the worst thing in the world, but it certainly demoralizes you. When you encounter new players even when it isn't patch day, be considerate of the players you want them to be when they reach end game. Good players don't magically happen. They are forged through learning. Just like those of us who clear content when there isn't a guide for it.
