Some people like to learn things for themselves, and particularly on the day a new dungeon is released, they expect to be allowed to. It's one of the main reasons people like new content more than content they're reaching for the first time long after other people have run it. (Given this thread came up on patch day, I'm assuming you're talking about new content.)

Then say it at the start. If you want a blind run, request a blind run at the start. People usually listen to that. If I get a, "New to dungeon" popup and nobody says anything, I am to assume the newbie is SCARED to put attention on him.

This also isn't just on new dungeons. I get yelled at it if there's new people in stuff like Void Ark too.

If you don't want to be told what to do when it's your first time, disable chat. You can easily change what you can and can't see in a chat channel so there is no reason people should complain that bad if they didn't want tips. After a greeting, just simply change your chat channels so you can't see chat.

    +1 to this.

Also I want to add, it's perfectly fair if people want a blind run. But what about those of us that don't want a blind run? I know I myself want any tips possible when going in to a new fight and I hate being surprised in general. I'd rather know everything ahead of time so I know what to look for or can associate to the explanation.

It's spoiling because people want to be able to experience the new content by themselves, see what happens in the fights without being told beforehand, and figure out what causes what in the fight.

Then check out a guide / tips online or take a friend who's already done the content to explain it on voice chat, or even wait a couple of days. You can come prepared, but don't ruin it for others. And if you want someone to guide you through a fight, why would you expect the random people you end up in the instance with do that in the first place instead of studying the fight on your own?

If you just want to farm the content effectively, then make a farm party / alliance for it. It's day 1 in Duty Finder for new content. Wipes are to be expected and it's perfectly alright to just want to experience the content. I think it's just awful how people these days are so afraid of any wiping - not to even mention the possibility that you might not clear the content in time - in a brand new endgame raid content that's been out for less than 24 hours.

...but don't those people realise they should be pf'ing a full party for such a restriction?

Don't those people realize they can pf a group with no newbies if they don't want to deal with people on less than 24 hour old content? How inconsiderate.

The problem a lot of veteran players have is that they've gotten so absorbed in their dps epeen, their item level, and their "valuable" time that they forget that they were new once, and that on patch day everyone is new. Above all else patch day is a time for players to apply the skills they were supposed to have learned in previous content, and get real experience for adapting to new content while clearing it before guides are posted. Telling someone what the gimmick is without even giving them the chance to figure it out on their own is kind of like telling a kid that the new video game they got for their birthday is a rental and has to go back the next day. It might not be the worst thing in the world, but it certainly demoralizes you. When you encounter new players even when it isn't patch day, be considerate of the players you want them to be when they reach end game. Good players don't magically happen. They are forged through learning. Just like those of us who clear content when there isn't a guide for it.
