In all honesty, I don't mind the gender lock on some of the gear. It could be worse, they could have stuck hard to Garo's lore and the armor itself would be Gender locked to male only. Cause fun/stupid fact, in Garo it is against Makai LAW for a woman to be a Makai Knight. Stupid I know but at least they didn't go that far. :V

The gender luck in and of itself is ludicrous, I thought we were moving away from that nonsense at last, but it also serves to create serious inventory bloat with four classes now having two sets each. If you want to collect all the sets from the collaboration, it'll cost you 99 inventory spaces with all accessories and weapons!

And, I mean, I may hate gender locks on principle alone, but I feel like everyone should be able to understand why putting them on actual gear with stats is just beyond the pale.

Pretty sure they won't be able to be put in the Armoire, since everything seems to point at the gear being here to stay, even if it is a crossover thing.

The armoire isn't related to whether items are temporarily or permanently available. AF gear, CE bonuses, Vet rewards, etc. are all permanent features, and they go in the armoire. The maid/butler outfits, on the other hand, which were from a temporary promotion don't go in the armoire.

With the all the complaints with gender exclusion one would think someone would speak up for creator rights to present their vision of their creation. We owe it to ourselves to make the content we want, if the work of another does not conform to the pressures of those that want everything available to them.

Does the NPC who trades male for female gear and vice versa have these? (I forget if that's the Calamity Salvager or the other NPC right next to him.)
