For 4.0 and onwards, new jobs should have a lvl 50/60 iconic glamour quest set.

I do agree that the new jobs should start off with some decent gear, if they start off with just the basic normal quality lv 50 ilvl 115 stuff I would need to gear it properly with a decent set of gear like the ironworks (that is if ironworks gear is even made for the new jobs). As for getting up to level 60 I think as part of the job quest rewards we should at least get a full set of the old upgraded Eso tombs gear. That would put us on a half decent ilvl to start into stormblood content (or the gear for the last tombstones that were discontinued, currently it's been the Eso tombs that were last discontinued)

Given that we did get weapons for the old jobs even for with things like Primal tokens I'm positive we will get atleast the same treatment on things like Poetic weapons and the like. As far as starting gear however...that could be a reason they are currently leaning towards lvl 50, to start players out with AF1 gear for new jobs. This would give new players i90 stuff like they can get with the majority of other jobs while those who get the Poetics can immediatly start out at i120/130.
