Growing krakka or buying cheaper?

I still don't understand, in french, item's description is just informing us of the bonus given to chocobo, i don't remember them saying it gives exp when used :/ as i said when the OP created the topic i'v bought some at vath, still my chocobo's exp bar didn't move for a single number *lost*

The description in english also has no mention of experience, however using the alternatives to train the chocobo while it's in the stables should give your chocobo the same experience points as training it with krakka root. My FC and I have been using the cheaper alternatives from the Vath vendor for some time now. When the servers back up I'll see if I can snag a screenshot that might make more sense (or uncover a bug if you're doing the same thing and having a different result).

Very odd. I thought krakka seeds were half that price. Have they always been that price? Been a while since I bought any.

Seems they should do something about the price of the seeds. They need adjusting.

As far as I can recall that's always been their price. Alone the price doesn't seem so bad, but it adds up quick when you're filling up plots.
