Regarding Full Party Premades in Frontline and Patch 3.5

Let's not ask SE to reinvent the wheel here. Limit premades to 4/8. Is there a chance that you could be put with another 4 and then technically be two premades? Sure. But during prime times, with the amount of people that will be queing, chances are slim.

Any veteran of FL knows how it is facing a premade, and it obviously hasn't driven us away...but this is FINALLY a time that we're going to see a MAJOR influx of new players, put aside your insatiable need to farm solos and realize your desire to just roll through FL without a care in the world will literally shut new players down from ever wanting to try FL again.

It's necessary to restrict it to some degree. But I don't really have a clue how they will make it fair though (for both solo and premade peeps).

They should at least make an option to queue as a full premade against two other full premades (like Feast).

Now that they're adding the cross server PF. It can be used for matching with said option. There is also the PvP Discord which will most likely try to set up matches between three full premades.

One thing is certain, queue times will be better. Wasted my life on queue times thanks to this GC business. I want my youth back. For now, I'm going to accept if SE decides to have a test period and let people do whatever.

I once time had worse premade from Mana data center. I had fight with premade, all from Chocobo server

It's not even 5 minutes they already doing caster LB when destroying large crystal.

Premade or no...noobies are gonna get converted into walking cannon fodder the minute the 17th gets here. They're already dead and burried at this moment. Real question is, how will the rest of the people, specifically ones bothered by premades react. Will you continue to maintain the quiet boxers-around-ankles-approach or start making premades of your own with the significantly larger player pool and start taking names in return?

I think they shouldn't allow you to queue with more than 4 players for frontlines, similar to how you can't queue for feast with more than 2. That's still enough to form a decent unit but not enough to go around destroying other parties as you'd only have half a party preformed.

Yes you could queue 2 preformed 4-mans and hope to get into the same match together, but with the removal of GC restrictions that could very well end with those parties fighting each other instead.

Well since most ppl q without gc restriction they could just enable it and q together xD. Premades are fine no fix needed.

It sucks to lose all the time, yes. But when you are on the other side, in premade... These were the most fun days of my pvp career.

The smartest thing is to flank the premades. Not necessarily for victory, but if you want to kill them it is, which is often needed to beat them. The problem is timing. With a pug team you tell them in advance "we must flank them blahblahblahexplanationexplanation ... get ready". Then, when you see the perfect opportunity, you spam "<se.1>GOGOG!". But, of course, half team+ waits too long and opportunity lost. For me, unwillingness to actual pvp from pug team has cost us many victories.

Sneak Ers used to do this all the time back in the slaughter/secure days. Come up from behind Mael/Flames and wiping them or at least the healers in the back, building up our High/Fever and knocking Mael's down.
