And then it will just transform into critiquing whatever options they do or don't add. (After all, no matter what they add, there will be people disappointed that it wasn't something else.)
Personally, I'm hoping for some more catlike Miqo'te options. Perhaps with a third clan for each of the existing races (the catlike ones being the third Miqo'te clan).
I'd be open to a third clan/tribe/whatever for existing races and all. Starchaser Miqo'te, don't have Clans or Tribes but Houses, are refined and sophisticated compared to their tribal and clannish cousins, tend to focus on magic and scholarly pursuits, etc...
What do you mean by more catlike options? They seem fairly catlike as is without devolving into Beast Tribe territory.
Well, I've never played XI, so I don't know things like how they move and such, but from a Google image search, they seem to at least have options for some somewhat more catlike facial markings on the forehead and cheeks, which I'd like, but it's not much and the ones not using those options don't seem any more catlike than the Miqo'te here.
I would like to see Miqo'te with:
- facial / body markings in a tabby pattern (possibly Siamese seal point or calico options as well)
- carnivore teeth
- claws (nothing dramatic that would change the shape of our hands, but something like what Claws of the Beast or the Ehcatl Wristgloves offer, so more like pointed fingernails)
- possibly a hint of fur if it could be done subtly enough to stay out of beast tribe territory
- more catlike use of the ears and tail in emotes. (Lashing your tail back and forth, for instance, belongs with /furious, not /happy. And why don't our ears perk forward or swivel around during /lookout and /alert respectively?)
(I guess full Ronso style cat people would be too beast tribe for this game. Too bad about that. Ronso are cool.)

Thing about the Mithra was the facial markings were tied to the hairstyles, meaning you couldn't mix and match. Everyone pretty much played the white spiky haired one as well. One thing I like about being elezen, so many people play tails on XIV I get to feel like a unique special snowflake. However, I do agree that all the races need more customization options.Well, I've never played XI, so I don't know things like how they move and such, but from a Google image search, they seem to at least have options for some somewhat more catlike facial markings on the forehead and cheeks, which I'd like, but it's not much and the ones not using those options don't seem any more catlike than the Miqo'te here.
