bass9020, what do you stand to lose in opposition of the idea?

Reaperking386 (nice sig btw), you might assume that I've played consistently during that whole time. I haven't. I don't need to go into my reasons why because this isn't solely about me. This would affect everyone else. If I had played since 1.0, gotten each and every limited item along the way, then read a post like this, I wouldn't be opposed.

ReplicaX, to be fair, I'm not confident any choice of words or the absence of of concession-refutation attempts would bear any different fruit. That's been my experience thus far anyway. People are often very negative about ideas or suggestions that do not affect them personally, and that is what confuses me.

SuperZay, wasn't Yo-kai fun? I actually did do it on an alt, but that's another story.

AlphaFox, demand isn't the word for it. Obviously this is a suggestion in the first place, so there's that.

Thanks for the erm... pretty negative responses so far though (*coughs blood*) but I've really yet to hear anyone respond with why they would oppose such an idea. What do you stand to lose? I haven't heard that argument yet. So far the only thing I've ever seen is that bringing some new options in for the old stuff somehow cheapens the achievement of getting it on time, but is it really that big of a deal? I mentioned earlier the things that, to me, seem like things worth being proud of, but something that would literally take 15 minutes of game time during a few weeks of the year back in the day? No... I haven't heard a great defense for this.

And what about all those 1.0 achievements that are in the achievement log? You'd never have all the achievements there if you didn't do them in 1.0.

Whether or not you consider me a completionist isn't really the point of the discussion I was attempting to have, but it's clear that I've found little support here for any ideas regardless.
