    Well Leviathan is a female traditionally... I certainly assume her to be in this. Shiva has alllwwwaaayyss been humanoid and Ifrit has always looked like a Djinn/Demon. Nothing much can be done to change them without upsetting alot of FF fans.

    Not that I'm suggesting that there is a call to change them but there is a history with Shiva (even the lore kinda lends to the idea she be humanoid). Now Sophia is new and I harken her style back to Greek Goddess just a stylistic choice considering her theme.

    How about bosses that we have no specific ideas about gender? Are those just assumed to be male?
