it will, but it wont
people who DO NOT want to do anything ever with people in japan or wherever can have their servers
but MOST people, and i do meen most, will want to be on servers where its cross culture i bet
i can almost guarentee with 100% certainty that the language based servers will end up being the smallest

I'll be staying on the multi-regional servers. I have never had an issue (xenophobic or otherwise) with Japanese, German or French players in XI, and I don't suspect I will in XIV either.it will, but it wont

I always felt the cross-culture nature of the servers in XI made the game that much more interesting. I'd even get into some conversations - albeit short and not very fluid - with players from other regions via the autotranslator.
So, regardless of how they do that, I'll be sticking to the mult-regional servers.

You do realize that this is one of the JP players biggest concerns theres a 900 post topic on the JP general forum complaining about not having JP only servers.
It will also make the game easier for US players to play because now you know everyone speaks English.
