XIV 2.0 is not enough rebranding of this game. ofcourse it will get new reviews, but lets be real people will forever think the game final fantasy xiv is garbage.

Or maybe the artists on the game boxes just make XIV really tiny and in the back with NEW FINAL FANTASY!! real big

If SE takes the right steps in Advertising the new FFXIV, people will be excited again. Nuff said

Call it what they want in other countries but people would like to know what they are getting, it is just good advertising plus it sheds that xiv image.

I've been saying this since 2002. It doesn't make any sense to give decade-long spanning MMOs full-on roman numerals in the main franchise. It's silly. XIII-2 is wrapping up, VS XIII is getting geared up, XV is in the early stages ... and people are still playing XI. It just feels off.

Final Fantasy Online even has a better ring to it.

Would be a smart play when they get ready to finish up 2.0 to start selling it as just Final Fantasy Online to show that the floped FFXIV is gone.

ff14 is an official final fantasy game. the number just seals it. otherwise ff12 will have to be converted to ff11 etc etc..

11 didnt bomb and need COMPLETE revamp. redirect the site, XIV will be reserved, but accepted and refered to as ff online.

or keep this and save it for the next one - i will be playing dragon quest online until then
