Thancred is my least favorite Scion, now that he's gone full chuuni and wears an eyepatch he doesn't need. Hopefully Stormblood sees him into a less stupid outfit (and a more upbeat personality).

They did. Roel, most of the former friendly crystal braves, and Yugiri's lot were all looking for them. They knew they had made contact with the Ala Mhigan resistance who smuggled them out of the city but couldn't find out anything else because the Ala Mhigan resistance wasn't saying anything.

But if they were searching, why no information during the quests? In the end our heroes just find Yda and Papalimo accidentally. What for was all this searching by Crystal Braves and domanians, if they were fully useless, not a piece of information from them?

As I said, the Ala Mhigan's were stonewalling them. The resistance is pretty damn good at hiding its people. It has to deal with Garlean spies. For the Scions trying to track them without risking antagonising the resistance it would be very difficult. We knew they were with the resistance, We knew that they were probably safe since they had allies in the resistance. Frankly since we went public that charges had been dropped most of our people probably expected them to come back on their own.

The Scions were very proactive in trying to track down their friends and allies. We didn't drop everything to persue it because we couldn't really do much to help and we had a lot to do in Ishgard, both for the stability of the nation and to pay back the people who had taken us in.
