Give us an indoor furnishing pool. Make a few different sizes, make it like a rug item that extends 6-8ft down below the floor of the instance allowing for diving just that far. There are many a basement yarning for pool DEVs, make it happen.

I assumed the second, as it would fit right in with what SE likes - forcing the players to not speedrun everything but first kill off everything before advancing (there are only so many scenarios during which doors make sense, and why the heck does an ice bear have my key..)

If that was too hard to do, swimming/diving passages could be in places where the group can't have aggro yet - like right at the entrance, after minibosses and after teleporting to a new part of the map.

Alternatively, you could have a segment with monsters on rafts/platforms, and unless you climb on and fight them, the floodgate at the end of the segment won't open, so even if players jump into the water to reset aggro, they gain nothing from it, stuff like that.

So unless you're going to do a suicide run (like Cutter's Cry or Aurum Vale) and there's no mobs that aggro right on the water's edge (so you can't just have your healer come back and rez), you'd have to kill everything before swimming.

On-topic, I'd also like to see the Residential zones have swimming. As well as:

    Thaliak River (Hinterlands)
    Bronze Lake (Upper La Noscea)
    Silvertear Lake (Mor Dhona)
Isles of Umbra and Novv's Nursery (W La Noscea)
Costa del Sol (E La Noscea)
Lake between Gridania and Central Shroud (may be the same body of water that's in E Shroud and the Lavender Beds, though)
Pond around the Sanctum of the Twelve (E Shroud)
Water in the Hanging Barbs (also E Shroud)

Just considering overworld places that have easy access to the water (like a beach or gradual slope in), so no swimming in places like Middle La Noscea. May edit in Dungeons and stuff later if I think of it.

Thanks for the info. Now I hope they include some rare roaming shark-like monster in open world swimming to surprise people around and make them swim-fast for their life xD
