Should there be a Glamour/Style subforum?

To be honest, I think the only sub-forum that would see a wave of interest is an actual "Off Topic" like so many other forums have to freely discuss anything not related. I mean no offense to those who run it and I can see the reasoning I suppose, but can't even really talk about other FF titles unless it relates back to 14 some how.

One would think that would suggest to SE that it is something worth investing development time in to adjust.

Honestly, the other subforums see so little use that making a post in there always feels like a good way to just have your thoughts (or questions, or ideas) ignored.

The JP forums actually use their sub forums and also dont make 6 new threads a day for the same topic. I think whoever manages the NA side of the forums just gave up tbh, since this place is a complete mess due to snowflake syndrome and lack of search.

The JP forums also has Reps that will move the conversation to an older thread about the same topic. :-B

I actually would love a Whinning sub forum, some kind of a war zone where you go at your own risks....a bit like General in fact, though you would know what to expect when you step in xD

General Discussion is to discuss everything that doesn't explicitly belong to any of the existing categories.
Glamour and Character looks seem very fitting there, so I don't see what the problem is.
It's mostly just 1 thread per race + 1 general "show your glamour" one + 1 "suggest new glamours" megathread.
While they are all large, ongoing threads, it's just a handful so I don't think it's fitting to say half of the GD is glamour.

I've seen it on other site's forums. NA people tend to have a rather, uh, colorful reaction to being told to post in someone else's thread. They get angry at the indication that they aren't the center of the universe and end up posting in the linked thread without reading any of what's already there.

You occasionally see moved threads now, but the days of them linking to other threads has long passed. It would take an army of mods to sift through what we have now. There something like 38k threads on the NA General Discussion forums now, the JP forums has 2600. Scale is important here. And NA has duplicate upon duplicate thread. It would probably take months to whittle down our forums to be continuous threads at this point, maybe years.
