Fairies is also plural for many or a bunch.


Faerie derives from the french in the 16th century.

Fairies is more of a modern day term from the modern word Fairy. (Fairie is not a word)

I think I'd take it one step further and wish for a hot, buff dude fairy with clothes rather than an androgynous child fairy with exposed Barbie doll anatomy (which is cute, but I'm tired of my fairy being cute lol).
