About garo I not see gold saucer in it . Just about wolf marks. Did i miss something ? im lost...

Wondering the same thing... But the interviewer question was specifically about PvP, so maybe Yoshi did not talk about Gold Saucer for that reason.

The more I hear about the few released details of this event, the more I think I will just ignore it xD .....

It's not a mistranslation, you're just misunderstanding. What he likely means is that most people will find that getting a single set of gear for one job to be realistically obtainable, while collecting all the sets will require more invested time.

Personally, I can't imagine these sets costing much more than the PvP sets currently in place. What we MIGHT see is a system similar to yokai, where the first set is very cheap to purchase but every additional set gets exponentially more expensive.

Ah right, thanks, one gear = one set of equipment. I got confused because "gear" word sometimes is used to describe a single piece and sometimes a whole set

One thing to note, developers carefully choose where this content is placed. I bet they want more people to try out PvP and thus this event was designed with that in mind. Then they added the optional path through the gold saucer (which again they probably want to introduce more people to).

Very excited for this, been a huge GARO fan since the first series aired and the Lionsliege set was clearly inspired by it even back then

Hopefully this will make Frontlines ques a lot faster.

I'm still a newb at PvP, and haven't been able to find any decent guides for a WAR online. I only que for Frontlines because I don't want to go into ranked Feast and bring the whole team down before I even know the basics, but it's really hard to see what's working and what's not working in Frontlines thanks to everything being so hectic and nobody really working together

Is there another resource I can try? PvPaissa is woefully barren of articles or even forum posts

It would be really nice if PvP got a Novice Hall the way PvE does, even if just to show the use of the PvP-exclusive abilities

I want at least 2 of the sets (silver and gold for nin/pld) and the mounts are badass. I hope I can get all/most of them without having to farm every set. I'm not really too in to the caster one.

All I hope is that there's a decent amount of time allotted to get the gear. I'm talking about at least as long as there was for Yokai. I don't want to bust my balls grinding either PVP or GS to get the gear because that just leaves an unpleasant feeling afterwards.

Seems to be the new trend with Collabs. Just waiting for FFXV event to be "you have to kill every single B, A and S rank hunt that exists in both ARR and HW 20 times to obtain Noctis'/Luna's hair" or something like that..

In fairness, the collaboration partner at the time explicitly wanted it to be hard to obtain everything. Wait and see.

With an attitude like that, just don't bother with the event. We both know that kind of mentality wouldn't fly even in PvE content, so what makes you think other players who are legitimately making an effort to win are simply going to carry you? You're guaranteed to lose that way, and if you intend to simply grind wolf marks win or lose, you're likely to be vote kicked. So save yourself the apparently huge effort, and others the displeasure of having to deal with your lack of willingness to try.
