No? Seriously, my AST in CS deals more damage than most of the DPS I've come across in Expert lately.
Which is...really sad.

"BAAAAAARD!" - 2018
as someone else said in this thread before, the only change i'd like to see being made to CS would be a small acc increase... in instanced content healers would be OP if cstance was buffed, and in solo content your slightly-less-potent-than-DPS-job-attack attacks are exchanged for pretty much assured survivability
same function as current CS but 1.5x of your mind with increase accuracy and +10% crit chance, but now its 30s duration buff skill with 30s cooldown instead of toggle, the buff gone the moment you cast healing spell.

Merry christmas =)
If that were the case, it would have been disabled in dungeon content, and the Healer role would have been far, FAR less popular than the tank role is now.
Erm. In 2.0 its always been a cross class action. Arcanists always equipped INT gears so damage was never an issue. However once you switch to SCH you are stuck with MID gears lest your heals be terrible.
Healers have always been designed to contribute dps in a raid setting. If they weren't they'd be given a single attack spell at level 1 and never get another one
There is more a need to do something with stoneskin.
It does cost the same amount of mana as cure 2, but at i270 the potency is only around 25% of cure 2.
