Viera are just the new meme race at this point and they're not even playable
Maybe people new to Final Fantasy through XIV should play XII or Tactics on the side just to see how much more there is to Ivalice than just bunny girls, they're not even that big of a deal in their own game either.

4.3 - Are Viera coming?
4.5 - When are we going to see Viera?

It's pretty much why I responded the way I did on the JPN Fan Fest thread... oh, I was even responding to you back there, hahah. Ivalice certainly is an interesting world and I'm curious to see how FFXIV will treat it (a reference like Crystal Tower? Grimoire dimension?), but we know that there will be more "Viera plz? threads in the future. Be they necro'd threads or completely new... with the same people (myself included) going back and forth.

So I guess that means another two years of "Viera plz" threads, huh? Greeeeeeat.
