I'm glad we're getting a PvP oriented event, and that the PvP rewards are dyeable.
I don't want to hear any complaints from those that simply choose the Gold Saucer option because they refuse to try/don't like PvP.

As long as there is a non-pvp option I won't complain. It will probably be ridiculously grindy though with sets costing millions of MGP. That's my primary concern. I never watched the tokusatsu series but I did watch the anime, I desperately want the gold/silver/black armors at the minimum.
So applying that logic, if people don't like to PvE should every event have a PvP alternative?
But it's a valid complaint to be unable to obtain the dyeable version of a collaboration event, if said player doesn't like PvP. I think both the PvP and the Gold Saucer versions should be dyeable.
People who enjoy PvP will be able to obtain it through PvP, people who don't enjoy PvP will be able to obtain it from the Gold Saucer, perhaps PvPers being able to obtain it a bit faster, as incentive. Bottom line being that collaboration events are supposed to be fun to participate in.
But enjoy PvPing with players who likely won't pull their own weight to obtain points for the event gear, since I doubt they'll be tied to winning PvP matches.
Yokai you had to do FATEs. I don't like FATEs, so I didn't do the event. I didn't complain. They probably meant for this event to be for PVP only like how the other event was for FATEs. But they assume people would whine about PVP so they gave them something ez to get slightly watered down alternatives. I mean how does this Garo thing relate to Saucer gameplay?
So I guess you would've received this better if they didn't have the saucer alternative I guess? Imo people should be happy that they even did that.
How does Garo relate to PvP? I mean the literal translation seems to be "Fanged Wolf", but it's kind of a stretch to automatically tie everything wolf related to PvP.
What it looks like to me, is a mature version of Power Rangers, with these "Makai Knights" dealing with "Horrors" (demons). Doesn't really seem PvP related to me.
Considering this is a limited time collaboration event, obtaining the event items will likely involve a currency that can be obtained through PvP matches (regardless of whether the team wins or loses).
I suppose the PvPers will have to enjoy dealing with players who are just there to farm currency with minimal/no effort, possibly ruining a good amount of matches.
If PvP is clearly the only practical requirement to obtain the items, I expect lot of idle manderville dancers during the matches xDHow does Garo relate to PvP? I mean the literal translation seems to be "Fanged Wolf", but it's kind of a stretch to automatically tie everything wolf related to PvP.
