I'd like more meaningful stats too. It could even help even out the distribution of races if the less popular choices like Roe had more desireable stat distributions.

Though with this commuity, if the differences were too big, wouldn't people force certain race/job combinations? Imagine party finders labeled "needing i250 tank for static no Wildwood Elezen."

Right now the only racial advantage I'm aware of is that a Dunesfolk Lalafell has enough base piety to perform a more damaging black mage opening rotation without needing to invest stat points or rely on a party's piety bonus.

How would they be meaningful? Let's say Roegadyn get the biggest vitality pool but garbage Intelligence. Good luck ever getting into a static as a Black Mage. Either you go tank or you Fantasia to something better suited.
