I agree with you. In fact, I was just thinking yesterday, I wish there were more differences between races, though not necessarily stat wise. Beside Midlander/Highlander, every other clan is just a carbon copy of each other, minus a few tiny things like skin color choices.

Instead, you'll end up with everyone who is competitive playing the exact same race/job combinations because those are the best. Oh yeah, diversity woo! No thanks. I hated that part of WoW (played Forsaken - was often chided for my "poor choice" in race).
