THIS!!!
Seriously, Garo is one of my favorite toku series, and I'm so hyped they took the armor designs of the Makai Knights appearing in the first 2 season. I *so* want to cosplay Kouga!

YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, THIS IS GARO! THE BEST MODERN TOKUSATSU IN JAPAN!
Who cares about the anime, when we've got the ORIGINAL Kouga-era armor! Garo, Zero, Dan, and Kiba, all right here for us! They even get their own versions of Gouten! Anyone who has even the slightest idea of what Garo is would be crying tears of joy at the sight of this crossover event!

I'm not a hardcore fan of Garo but I know about the series since long ago. The armors are awesome and I'm definitely looking forward to this collab now that they plan to include them in the game. *Looking Forward Intensifies*
While I'm happy for those who know this specific series; this is the first time I've literally face-palmed watching a teaser trailer. What happened to cross overs being from other FFs in the series? It was stretching it a bit going into other SE works, then really went off the deep end with yokai; now it feels like they're just going with whoever can throw the most money at them to get advertised in a game. Some of the stuff looks cool as stand-alone (not knowing where it came from etc), so its not like I'm griping about the 'goodies' in general, but the aspect of where its coming from just feels entirely off for a FF game.
I think the armor looks gaudy and I find Japanese theatrics a bit anointing to look at. Its always the same thing and once you've seen 1 over exaggerated pose you've seen them all.
Call me when theres a Nier/Drakengard crossover with Yoko Taro's direction involved.
As mentioned earlier in the thread GARO was created by one of the designers who will be working on the new 24-man raid Keita Amemiya. Its pretty much celebrating him being a member of the team. While I'm happy for those who know this specific series; this is the first time I've literally face-palmed watching a teaser trailer. Great, so they can mention this in the next Live Letter that we all watch, direct us to his previous works and let it be settled at that. His influence alone in the next 24 man should give enough 'spark' of interest to his work if players find it that interesting. I'm sure you could pull a huge deal of random things from previous works of all the employees at SE (temp or not), doesn't mean it should be shoved into a setting it doesn't relate to. I still stand by my previous comment.
We've been asking over and over for an XV crossover, and they do an obscure crossover most people havent heard of? Oh, well at least the stuff is awesome. Never mind that I have no idea on what it even is lol.
